Transferring files over internet via software like Messenger, WhatsApp is not only a privacy problem ( data is stored in Facebook servers) but has a serious impact in quality of videos and photos that are send.

About technology used by us

We are using two different types for file transfer: WebRTC (for only web transfer) and HTTP Transfer (Android App). In both cases, the transfer is p2p (peer to peer), with no storage on a 3rd party server and without altering your data (photos, videos)

WebRTC (Web only transfer)

To make a transfer using this method:

• Step 1. You need to open a web browser on both devices (sender and receiver) and head up to https://ashare.link.
• Step 2. On the device from where you want to send the file(sender) click on the Scan Or Code button.
• Step 3. Scan QR Code on receiver device.
• Step 4. Follow on screen instructions, select files that you want to send.
• Step 5. Hit Upload button.
• Step 6. Receiver will see on the screen, that files are being send to him.
